Crimenetwork Takedown Exposes 22,000 Users and Over 100 Illegal Sellers

Law enforcement agencies (Germany's BKA and ZIT, Spanish Policía Nacional, Moldovan units and Eurojust) dismantled the relaunched darknet marketplace 'Crimenetwork' and arrested the suspected operator in Mallorca. Authorities seized approximately €194,000 and obtained comprehensive user and transaction databases; the platform had quickly grown to over 22,000 users and 100+ vendors, generated estimated revenues exceeding €3.6 million, and traded stolen data, forged documents and illicit narcotics for privacy-focused cryptocurrencies.
