New iOS Exploit With Advanced iPhone Hacking Tools Attacking Users to Steal Personal Data

DarkSword is a sophisticated, full-chain iOS exploit kit that chains six vulnerabilities (including four zero-days) to achieve kernel-level compromise on iOS 18.4–18.7; it has been actively used by multiple commercial surveillance vendors and suspected state-sponsored actors to deploy data-exfiltration implants (GHOSTKNIFE, GHOSTSABER, GHOSTBLADE) against targets in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, and Ukraine, and the identified CVEs have been reported to Apple and patched in subsequent iOS releases.
