Microsoft will stop delivering OneDrive sync app feature, bug, and security updates to devices running Windows 10 version 21H2 and earlier on August 15, 2026. Organizations should upgrade eligible devices to Windows 11 or at minimum Windows 10 22H2, update internal documentation and helpdesk guidance, and use the OneDrive web interface as a temporary alternative; unsupported sync clients may face degraded functionality and increased exposure to future vulnerabilities.
