Microsoft released out-of-band update KB5077744 to fix a regression from January’s KB5074109 that caused Remote Desktop credential prompt failures in the Windows App on builds 26200.7623 and 26100.7623, disrupting Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Windows client RDP access. The patch restores authentication handling, raising builds to 26200.7627 and 26100.7627, and can be deployed via the Microsoft Update Catalog, WSUS, or Intune without removing the prior security update.
