Odido Telecom Suffers Cyberattack – 6.2 Million Customer Accounts Affected

Odido Telecom confirmed a cyberattack detected over the February 7–8 weekend that resulted in unauthorized access to its customer relationship management system and the exfiltration of personal data for about 6.2 million customers. Affected fields reportedly include full names, addresses, mobile numbers, customer numbers, email addresses, IBANs, dates of birth, and government ID numbers; Odido says portal passwords and some other sensitive data were not accessed, the company has notified regulators and affected customers, and external cybersecurity teams have been engaged.
