Windows 11 KB5077181 Security Update Causing Some Devices to Restart in an Infinite Loop

Microsoft's February 10, 2026 Windows 11 cumulative update KB5077181, which patches 58 vulnerabilities (including several zero-days and at least one actively exploited flaw), has been linked by users to critical boot loops, repeated restarts, SENS and DHCP errors, and installation errors (0x800f0983 / 0x800f0991). Community troubleshooting and workarounds include uninstalling the update or using WinRE; Microsoft had not acknowledged the boot-loop issue as of February 15.
