New Claude Memory Feature Allow Users to Transfer Data from ChatGPT and Other AI Providers

Anthropic introduced a Claude memory import feature that lets users port stored preferences and contextual memories from other AI assistants (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot) into Claude via a two-step copy-and-paste process; imported memories merge with existing Claude memories, may take up to 24 hours to fully synthesize, and full persistent memory capabilities are available on paid plans (Claude Pro).
