From 112K to 4M folks' data – HR biz attack goes from bad to mega bad

VeriSource Services disclosed that a February 2024 digital intrusion exposed the data of about 4 million people — potentially including names, addresses, dates of birth, genders, and Social Security numbers. The company updated its earlier estimate of ~112,000 affected, is offering 12–24 months of credit monitoring, and says it has seen no evidence of misuse while working with the FBI.
