Korean telco allegedly infected its P2P users with malware

Allegations have emerged that South Korean telecom KT deliberately deployed malware within its "Grid Program" to interfere with P2P "web hard drive" file-sharing services, reportedly affecting about 600,000 users. The campaign allegedly included malware development, distribution, operation and wiretapping carried out from within a KT datacenter; police have searched KT facilities and referred 13 employees and partners for potential prosecution.
