Microsoft cancels Patch Tuesday for some Dell users over surprise shutdowns, overheating devices

Microsoft has temporarily pulled a recent Patch Tuesday update for a subset of Dell devices with Intel processors after Dell reported the update can cause unexpected shutdowns, increased heat, poor performance, and battery drain; Microsoft and Dell are investigating and plan to release a fix but have not published a list of affected models.
