Scammers try to SIM-swap Dubai citizens hours after Iranian missile strikes

Dubai Police warned that financially motivated scammers exploited the aftermath of missile strikes to impersonate a fake "Dubai Crisis Management" entity and solicit UAE Pass credentials and Emirates ID information from residents to enable SIM-swap attacks and fraudulent access to mobile banking; the police urged the public not to share confidential information and to report suspicious activity.
