If Britain is so bothered by China, why do these .gov.uk sites use Chinese ad brokers?

Silent Push identified that several UK and US public-sector websites publish ads.txt (and related files) authorizing ad-tech brokers—including China-based Yeahmobi—potentially sharing visitor data via real-time bidding, raising privacy and compliance concerns (especially for US .gov sites). While some flagged US sites did not serve ads, UK council sites reportedly did, and data such as IP and user-agent may flow through bidstreams. Following the disclosures, a UK provider said it would remove Yeahmobi from government ads.txt files, and a US police site operator removed an inherited Google ads.txt entry caused by a WordPress Multisite configuration.
