Bot her emails: most modern phishing campaigns are AI-enabled

KnowBe4's seventh Phishing Threat Trends report finds that roughly 86% of phishing campaigns observed in the past six months used AI, with increases in multi-vector attacks such as calendar invites and Microsoft Teams impersonations; AI is being used for automated reconnaissance and to generate highly personalized, polymorphic lures that Microsoft says are ~4.5× more effective than human-crafted phishing, contributing to widespread credential theft and fraud losses.
