Microsoft hints at bit bunkers for war zones

Microsoft is reassessing datacenter design and construction in conflict-prone regions after Iran carried out strikes on datacenters in the UAE and Bahrain and threatened further attacks (including against OpenAI's Stargate datacenters). The company, which operates facilities across the Middle East, calls for stronger international rules to protect civilian infrastructure; there are no confirmed reports of damage to Microsoft’s facilities in the account.
