Mega money, unfathomable violence pervade thriving underground doxxing scene

This report examines the doxxing economy around Doxbin, drawing on interviews with participants (“Ego,” “Reiko”) to detail financial incentives, mixed motivations, and escalation from online exposure to extortion and real-world violence-as-a-service. It highlights TTPs such as RAT use, social engineering, fraudulent emergency data requests, SIM swapping, and leveraging underground enforcers, and closes with practical mitigation guidance (privacy controls, MFA avoiding SMS, unique credentials, VPN, limiting PII, blurring home images, and external cameras).
