Respondents cite acute staffing shortages and the rise of attacks leveraging stolen credentials—often sourced via initial access brokers—now rivaling phishing as primary entry vectors for ransomware and other intrusions. The report suggests MSPs adopt broad, fully featured security stacks and consider MDR partnerships to deliver 24/7 coverage and offset talent gaps, especially for smaller providers.
