IntelBroker, a prolific extortionist, claimed to have breached Cisco on June 10 and is advertising a large trove of allegedly stolen Cisco and customer data (source code, hardcoded credentials, API tokens, cloud buckets, keys, SSL certificates, Jira tickets, and confidential documents) on BreachForums; dozens of major companies were named as affected. Cisco says it is investigating, has involved law enforcement, and to date has found no evidence its systems were impacted; the allegations are unverified but notable given the actor's history of public data-sale claims.
