Google announced it will halve the time between Chrome releases to a two-week cadence for desktop, Android, and iOS starting with Chrome 153 on September 8th. The company says more frequent but smaller releases will minimize disruption, simplify debugging, and provide faster access to performance improvements and security fixes; eight-week Extended Stable builds for enterprises and extended releases for Chromebooks will remain available.
