Dick's Sporting Goods disclosed a cyber intrusion discovered on August 21 in which an unauthorized third party accessed portions of its systems and may have taken confidential information. The retailer reports no operational disruption, has engaged law enforcement and an external security firm, and has not yet disclosed what specific data (if any) was exfiltrated.
