Nearly half of UK businesses pwned last year as phishing keeps doing the job like it's 2005

Nearly half of UK businesses and over a quarter of charities reported cyber incidents in the past year, with phishing responsible for the majority (~85%) of breaches; while many organizations have basic protections, adoption of stronger controls (two-factor authentication, formal backups, supplier risk reviews, encryption) is inconsistent, leaving significant exposure across small and large organisations alike.
