Public Wi-Fi operator investigating cyberattack at UK's busiest train stations

Network Rail's public Wi‑Fi landing pages at about 20 managed stations were compromised and defaced with Islamophobic messaging; services were suspended while Network Rail, operator Telent, landing-page provider Global Reach and the British Transport Police investigate. Initial findings indicate the defacement was made using a legitimate Global Reach administrator account, with operators reporting no personal data was exposed.
