Singapore boffins get diverse SIEMs singing in harmony with agentic rule translation

Researchers from the National University of Singapore and Fudan University developed ARuleCon, an agentic retrieval-augmented generation pipeline that translates security detection rules between SIEM vendors (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, Google Chronicle, RSA NetWitness). The approach combines authoritative vendor documentation retrieval and Python-based consistency checks to reduce semantic drift and improve translation accuracy compared to generic LLMs, aiming to simplify SIEM consolidation and SOC workflows.
