UK government to open £16B IT services competition after 6-month delay

The UK Crown Commercial Service plans to launch the Technology Services 4 framework on March 21, 2025, increasing the potential value to £16 billion following delays linked to the new Procurement Act. The updated law introduces stricter supplier exclusion and a debarment list for misconduct such as bid-rigging. The framework will procure a wide range of IT and digital services—including consultancy, transition and SIAM, end-user and infrastructure services, live service management, asset management, application development, data management, security management, and transformation services.
