Entrust faces years of groveling to regain browsers' trust, say rival chiefs

Entrust plans to continue serving customers by acting as a Registration Authority via SSL.com while it attempts to regain full browser trust, but Sectigo questions the plan’s readiness, scalability, compatibility, and higher pricing. Chrome will stop accepting newly issued Entrust certificates in November and Firefox in December, creating uncertainty for customers during the transition.
