Best of British: UK's infosec envoys include Cisco, Palo Alto, and Accenture

The UK’s digital economy minister, Liz Lloyd, announced an ambassador program to champion the Software Security Code of Practice, enlisting organizations including Sage, Cisco, Palo Alto, Accenture, NCC Group, ISACA, ISC2, Nexor, Salus, Zaizi, Hexiosec, and banks such as Lloyds and Santander. The initiative seeks to boost secure software procurement and trust in digital systems by promoting best practices without additional regulation, leveraging the UK’s cyber expertise clusters and aiming to make the code a widely adopted benchmark.
