The SSSCIP/CERT-UA H1 2024 report describes a rise in Russian cyber operations supporting the war in Ukraine: targeted social-engineering by UAC-0184 to deploy downloaders and remote-control tools, supply-chain and shared-service compromises attributed to UAC-0002/Sandworm that deployed Linux-based ICS malware (LoadGrip, BiasBoat) and web shells, and continued use of Smokeloader, ransomware and wiper-like disruptive attacks aimed at energy, heat and water infrastructure.
