Cops across the world arrest 51 in orchestrated takedown of Ghost crime platform

Law enforcement across nine countries dismantled Ghost, an encrypted messaging platform used by transnational organized crime; the operation included the arrest of alleged creator Jay Je Yoon Jung, hundreds of warrants and searches, interventions in threats to life, seizures of drugs and weapons, and the identification of dozens of criminal users and resellers of modified handsets.
