October crypto-tracker hack: Access cracked, law enforcement tokens packed

Chainalysis confirmed an October breach that exposed user identifiers, password hashes and live tokens, and forced the company to take critical investigation and screening services (Reactor, Data Solutions, KYT) offline while it remediates. The company reported abnormal activity on transaction screening products, has required password resets and API key rotation, and indicated the attackers used agentic techniques and an on-path (attacker-in-the-middle) method; law‑enforcement-facing tools and customer investigations are potentially affected.
