The FBI has disrupted and seized two platforms—QScan (vulnerability-scanning/exploitation malware) and QTRouter (an IoT-based obfuscation botnet)—operated by a PRC-backed group called QTFY that targeted U.S. government agencies, national labs, and other critical networks since at least 2018; hardcoded domains qtproxy.xyz, qt-proxy.org, and qt-team.com were seized, and the group exploited serious vulnerabilities including CVE-2019-11510, CVE-2019-19781 and an Ivanti zero-day.
