Gartner suggests Friday afternoon Copilot ban because tired users may be too lazy to check its mistakes

Gartner analyst Dennis Xu outlined the top five Microsoft 365 Copilot security risks—overshared documents being exposed, remote execution via malicious prompts, sensitive data access from connected SaaS apps, and prompt-injection attacks—and recommended mitigations including enabling Microsoft filters, restricting plugins, monitoring access to sensitive content, applying stricter access controls, and educating users to validate Copilot output.
