The Caravan and Motorhome Club experienced a January cyberattack that disrupted its website and app; forensic investigators cannot confirm whether member data was stolen, but the criminal group LockBit claims the incident and has allegedly published 9.47 GB of CAMC files. Potentially exposed data includes names, addresses, dates of birth, contact details, policy and membership numbers, vehicle registrations and claim records for policies and claims between 2018–2024; CAMC reported the incident to the ICO, advised members to be vigilant for phishing, and says payments and passwords were not affected.
