Acemagic admitted that some mini PCs (models AD08, AD15, S1) manufactured before 18 Nov 2023 shipped with pre-installed Bladabindi backdoor and possibly Redline infostealer; infections were discovered by a reviewer and Windows Defender, the vendor provided clean system images and refunds/discounts, and attributed the issue to unsigned developer modifications though it is unclear if the infection occurred at the factory or after boot.
