Paragon spyware deployed against journalists and activists, Citizen Lab claims

Infosec roundup: Citizen Lab reports that Israeli vendor Paragon Solutions' Graphite spyware has been used to target journalists, activists and other civilians via a WhatsApp zero‑click exploit (Meta blocked the exploit and notified ~90 suspected targets); separately, SpyX, a parental-control/stalkerware vendor, suffered a breach exposing nearly two million accounts including emails, device and location data. The report also notes historical stalkerware breaches and an unrelated denial of an F-35 "kill switch."
