A Dutch regional journalist mailed a concealed Bluetooth tracker in a postcard to HNLMS Evertsen and was able to track the frigate's movements for about 24 hours using publicly available mailing instructions; the tracker was discovered and disabled during mail sorting and the Ministry of Defence is revising mail policies (including banning greeting cards containing batteries) in response.
