The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department disclosed that a vendor handling hunting and fishing license sales was breached, compromising data for about 3,087,721 Texans; leaked fields may include names, contact information, and drivers' license or passport numbers, while SSN exposure is disputed. TPWD is offering one year of credit monitoring, working with the vendor to implement enhanced monitoring and access controls, and has notified Texas Cyber Command, though the breach timeframe remains undetermined.
