Chrome Enterprise Premium promises extra security – for a fee

Google announced Chrome Enterprise Premium, a $6/user/month enterprise browser tier that adds security and management capabilities beyond Chrome Enterprise Core, including context-aware access control to reduce data exfiltration (e.g., to generative AI apps), DLP restrictions and warnings, enhanced policy and update controls, support for RDP/SCP/SSH, expanded event/device reporting with forensic integrations, and threat/data protection via malware scanning, dynamic URL filtering, and site categorization.
