Feds probe alleged classified US govt data theft and leak

A self-styled actor calling themselves 'IntelBroker' claimed to have breached contractor Acuity using a GitHub zero-day to steal and publish contact details and purported classified communications from Pentagon and other agencies; the State Department is investigating. Acuity confirmed a GitHub-related incident but says impacted repositories contained dated, non-sensitive information and that there is no evidence of loss of clients' sensitive data.
