Nearly half of UK businesses pwned last year as phishing keeps doing the job like it's 2005

The UK Cyber Security Breaches Survey reports that 43% of businesses and 28% of charities experienced a cyber incident in the past year, driven predominantly by phishing (about 85% of reported breaches). While many organizations have basic protections, gaps in two-factor authentication, supplier risk review, data encryption, and ransomware policies leave a large number of organizations exposed.
