Commvault has a Ctrl+Z for rogue AI agents

Commvault announced AI Protect to discover and monitor AI agents across AWS, Azure, and GCP, map dependencies, detect anomalous agent behavior via baseline deviation models, and restore agent configurations or revert corrupted data to known-good states. The company also introduced Data Activate to prepare backup copies for machine-learning pipelines (with PII exclusion and formats like Iceberg/Parquet) and AI Studio, a catalog of prebuilt and customizable agents that can interoperate with other platforms and integrate via Commvault’s Model Context Protocol.
