BreachForums boss busted for bond blunders – including using a VPN

Conor Brian Fitzpatrick (aka Pompompurin), the founder and operator of BreachForums, was arrested for violating his pretrial release after pleading guilty to access device fraud and possession of child sexual abuse material; court documents say he ran BreachForums as a marketplace and escrow service for stolen data and hosted major leaks (including data on approximately 200 million Twitter users and InfraGard members). He faces substantial prison time, fines, asset forfeiture, and registration as a sex offender; BreachForums continues under a different operator and several copycat sites emerged after the original disruption.
