Prolific phishing-made-easy emporium LabHost knocked offline in cyber-cop op

An international police operation led by London's Metropolitan Police seized LabHost, a dark-web phishing marketplace active since 2021 that provided downloadable spoofed website templates for ~170 organizations and a real-time tool called 'LabRat' to prompt victims for OTPs and other data; LabHost had ~2,000 paying customers, generated over $1M, facilitated >40,000 phishing sites and is linked to tens of thousands of victims (≈70,000 in the UK), with 35 arrests across 17 countries and ongoing victim notification and evidence collection.
