TeamViewer says Russia broke into its corp IT network

TeamViewer disclosed that Russia-linked APT29 (aka Cozy Bear / Midnight Blizzard) used a compromised employee credential to access its corporate IT network on June 26, copying employee directory information and encrypted passwords; the company says the incident was contained to internal/non-production systems, did not affect product or customer data, and that Microsoft helped harden authentication and mitigate risks.
