Memory scalpers hunt scarce DRAM with bot blitz

DataDome's threat research identified a large-scale, AI-assisted web-scraping campaign targeting DRAM (DDR5) product pages to find and hoard scarce memory inventory for profitable resale. The bots perform millions of requests (over 10 million), use cache-busting parameters and carefully tuned throttling to evade detection and rate limits, and are aggravating supply shortages and price increases across the memory supply chain.
