Microsoft punches back at Delta Air Lines and its legal threats

Microsoft disputed Delta Air Lines’ assertions that it was partly responsible for outage recovery delays after CrowdStrike’s July 19 buggy update caused widespread BSODs, claiming Delta ignored repeated offers of help—including from Satya Nadella—and suggesting the airline’s IT was insufficiently modernized. Delta did not dispute that help was offered but countered that it has invested heavily in IT. CrowdStrike similarly claimed Delta declined on-site assistance and attributed Delta’s protracted recovery to internal IT decisions.
