Huntress CEO says threat hunter used 'poor judgment' in alerting ransomware crim about law enforcement probe

Huntress acknowledged that a current threat hunter exchanged communications with ransomware operator Devman and disclosed that law enforcement had contacted them; the company described the behavior as "poor judgment", implemented policy and training changes, and is continuing an investigation, while a former employee alleges the conduct amounts to an insider threat and that FBI communications (including agent names) were forwarded to the criminal.
