One third of adults can't delete device data

The UK ICO reports that while most people recognize the importance of erasing data from old devices, 29% don’t know how and 24% find it too difficult, with younger adults showing less concern about data exposure. Many retain old devices due to privacy worries, and with new device purchases expected over the holidays, the ICO promotes simple steps—such as factory resets—to prevent unauthorized access to personal information.
