Schneider Electric is investigating a breach after the Hellcat ransomware group claimed to have accessed the company's Atlassian Jira instance and stolen more than 40 GB of compressed data (including projects, issues, plugins and over 400,000 rows of user data); the group demanded payment (jokingly specifying $125,000 in baguettes) and threatened to publish the stolen information. This incident is reported as Schneider's third breach in less than two years, following prior incidents involving Cactus and CL0P.
