Singapore boffins get diverse SIEMs singing in harmony with agentic rule translation

Researchers from the National University of Singapore and Fudan University developed ARuleCon, an agentic RAG-based framework that translates SIEM detection rules across vendor-specific formats (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, Google Chronicle, RSA NetWitness) by retrieving authoritative vendor documentation and performing Python-based consistency checks to reduce semantic drift; the tool aims to simplify SOC rule sharing and SIEM migrations and improves accuracy over generic LLM-based conversions.
