Microsoft Patch Tuesday for September 2026 — Snort rules and prominent vulnerabilities

Microsoft's September 2026 security update discloses 973 vulnerabilities across its products—113 classified as critical, including many remote code execution and elevation-of-privilege bugs (several with CVSS scores up to 10.0).
