Microsoft Patch Tuesday for February 2025 — Snort rules and prominent vulnerabilities

Microsoft's February 2025 security update addresses 63 vulnerabilities across multiple products, including several critical remote code execution and privilege escalation flaws (e.g., CVE-2025-21376 in LDAP, CVE-2025-21379 in DHCP Client, CVE-2025-21381 in Excel). Two privilege-escalation CVEs are reported as actively exploited in the wild, and Cisco Talos published Snort/SRU rules to detect attempts to exploit many of the issues.
